Mission Statement

To advance the scientific understanding and conservation of bottlenose dolphins and other marine mammals along the North Carolina coast, through rigorous field research focused on individual identification, health assessments, feedstock evaluation, distribution patterns, migratory behaviors, and to foster public awareness and stewardship through engaging educational programs based on our research findings.

Our research team is based out of Southport, North Carolina.
